Simon was able to fit me in in his busy schedule for which I was grateful. Came on time and fixed a cupboard to my laundry wall. He did a perfect job and I'm thrilled with his friendly willing efficient manner. Whilst here he also gave me excellent advice on other jobs I'll need doing in the future. Price was also excellent value for money.

I can't more strongly recommend Simon for jobs around the home. Friendly, professional, punctual, high quality, all the gear, thorough and easy to communicate with. Nothing seems too much trouble. He pressure washed our 2nd storey weatherboards and facias, and cleaned the gutters which are at a height that I'm not prepared to go to. Even fixed a troublesome gate on his way out. No fuss, no stress.
Thanks Simon, you'll be my go-to person for future jobs.

Simon helped us installed a off wall garden shed. We booked his service twice due to the product error. He is very punctual, polite and professional, and performed great workmanship as a skilled handy man. There were some difficulties during the work, but he found solutions quite quickly and the outcome was amazing. He does things in a professional manner and looks into details. In 2018 I expanded my business to include a metal fabrication module, and employed Simon Marks as a Metal Fabricator and Machinist. Prior to this I knew Simon through my business as a client for about 6 years. He has always shown me, other staff and customers respect and integrity. He has proved himself to be an honest and reliable person. Unfortunately, in 2022 I made the tough decision to scale back my business to just mechanical work and therefore sadly I had to make Simon’s position redundant.
During the time Simon was employed within our business he showed great confidence in his ability as a Machinist and Fabricator. He is thorough and has an extremely high work standard.
His skills need commendation. Simon was able to complete any project from research to quoting, designing and drawing to ordering then Fabricating, without supervison. He committed 100% to each and every project small or large.
He is confident in all areas of metal fabrication whether it be a new custom build or repairing and aged piece of equipment to fully function again.
Conclusively Simon’s technical ability will be welcomed by any Employer. He is a great team member, with outstanding customer service skills and I’m sure he will succeed in whatever position he applies for.

I have known Simon for over six years now, and he has always been the ’same’ - calm, confident and classy. Nothing is ’too hard’, never any issue of ‘I don’t know what to do with this’ and if ever anything unexpected occurs and things do not go to plan, Simon is always calm and thoughtful and comes up with an alternative. He is patient, explaining everything he is doing in detail (and why), giving options, and advising the pros and cons of each, leaving the final decision to YOU the customer. If you are in doubt, he will offer his best opinion. There is not much around my home that Simon has not had a hand in building or fixing. He is a man of integrity and honesty always giving a fair price. He is able to provide ideas, design, source material, build and complete a job which might take several other ’specialists’ to come up with. I have complete faith in anything Simon does . . . I have been known to call him ‘Peter Perfect’ and that is what you will get - perfection!

Since my husband and I moved to South Australia and were living independently for three years until recently, Simon proved to be a reliable and trustworthy workman. He was recommended to us by our daughter who has known Simon for many years and as she was always extremely happy with his honest work ethic, his knowledge and genuine helpfulness, we trusted her judgement, which proved to be spot on. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon, even for the smallest of jobs and if it was urgent, he would fit it in for us. Being elderly, we really appreciated that and can attest to his standard of workmanship.
